Catalog Description:
This course provides the knowledge and skills needed to service the hardware on various Apple Mac systems. Topics include hardware components, system configuration, hardware upgrades, troubleshooting techniques, Apple specific tools and safety procedures.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
Describe the characteristics, configuration and maintenance of the major hardware components on various Apple Mac systems,
Apply systematic troubleshooting procedures to analyze and resolve Apple Mac system faults.
Identify personal safety issues and proper handling of components.

25% Midterm
25% Final (The final is *not* cumulative. It will test only the 2nd half of the semester)
